Fort Laurens: Sons of the American Revolution

The Sons of the American Revolution will be returning to Fort Laurens the weekend of July 22-23 to conduct their annual business management meeting and pay tribute to those soldiers who gave their lives defending this American frontier fort during the American Revolution. Open to the public, please join the SAR and FFLF for these outstanding, solemn ceremonies at Fort Laurens.

Friday July 22nd: 9am-3pm SAR members will pay tribute to the Tomb of the Unknown Patriot by performing the “Changing of the Guard” as done at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington Cemetery in Washington D.C.

Saturday July 23rd: 11am Join SAR for their annual program and wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Patriot.
