2026 TWC Nature Journaling Workshop

Nature Journaling as a regular practice deepens our awareness of nature and can provide a profound sense of wellbeing! Join The Wilderness Center Naturalist Sarah each month (or drop in as your schedule allows) for the TWC 2026 Natural Journaling Workshop. This program is offered monthly with a Tuesday evening or Saturday morning option available to accommodate a wide range of schedules. Please BYO journal as you feel inclined, or feel free to use loose-leaf paper provided by TWC.

The program for adults provides guidance and support in creating a personal nature journal. We’ll observe and document how plant and animal life changes through the year with careful attention, creativity, and the support of a fun community. Program time will be part observation and journaling, as we try a new nature journaling exercise each month, and part conversational, as we share the discoveries and questions that have captured our curiosity.

Journals can take a variety of forms (writing, drawing/painting, or photography/video). It is a tool for personal expression and observations – pick something you enjoy, test new skills, or feel free to keep trying new things!
