58th Annual Tuscarawas Valley Pioneer Power Association (AKA) Dover Steam Show

A farm toy show  has been added to the attractions at the 58th annual Dover Steam Show at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds Aug. 19-21.

The annual garden tractor pull will be Friday August 19 at 6 p.m. at the grandstand with weigh in starting at 4p.m.. Saturday is a full day of activities including a pedal tractor pull for all ages at 1pm at the Grandstand and evening tractor pull is at 5pm.

The historic Four-Way Barn will be the backdrop for the toy show, which will include toy replicas of historical and modern farm machinery, model trains of all sizes, toy trucks of every type and even miniature pieces of construction equipment. A number of vendors is expected for the event, which is Saturday only from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Attendees will be treated to the usual educational displays of working antique farm and milling equipment that include a circular sawmill; a shingle mill; a threshing machine and baler. Construction equipment, farm trucks, crawlers and garden tractors will be featured, as well as tractors of every make and model.
