ALL THINGS COLEMAN

Ed Erb, owner of Erb’s Coleman Museum in Sugarcreek, will speak at 12:15 PM on Thursday, April 16 at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center.  Erb will talk about his journey from selling and repairing appliances to collecting 7,000 Coleman items. Erb began his business in an out building on his property and eventually built a showroom and warehouse in a more visible location. He has been able to connect people from different communities. He served members of Amish communities in Ohio, Delaware and Indiana as they transitioned from wood cook stoves to kerosene to natural gas.Erb and his son Duane are constantly creating new initiatives that make their services and products available to more customers.

In addition to his career in sales and service, Erb has a large collection of Coleman products and memorabilia. He enjoys showing people around the museum and talking about the more than 7,000 items on display.


This program is part of the Lunch and Learn series sponsored by the Dover Public Library on the third Thursday of every month. All programs of this series will be held at  the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, located at 425 Prospect Street in Dover.
