Civil War Round Table: Mr. Lincoln’s White House

Join us for the February edition of the Tuscarawas Valley Civil War Round Table, presented by Chris Hart:

Program: Mr. Lincoln’s White House

Description:   It is the turn of century, 1900 to be exact, and President William McKinley has invited the late President Lincoln’s secretary, George Nicolay to the White House for a visit.  Join George as he recalls life at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave during the Lincoln years, remembering everything from Inauguration Day to Mrs. Lincoln’s spending to the tragedy of Willie’s & Abraham’s death and everything in between.  It is a rare chance for Nicolay to be very candid and he does exactly that.
