Hanging Around in Nature

Join TuscParks this summer for our Hanging Around in Nature series at Trenton Heritage Park on June 27, July 25, and August 22 from 9AM to noon. During this event, we will take to the trees with hammocks or a comfy chair along the banks of the Tuscarawas River. Staff will lead discussion using a reflection book called “Whispers in the Wilderness” and discover the healing effects of nature as we explore the writings of Erik Stensland.
Those attending should meet at the gate at 9AM. The Trenton Heritage Park is located at 3809 State Dam Road, Warwick Twp., New Philadelphia, OH. We ask attendees to bring their own hammock or comfy chair to use during this event. A short hike will lead us to the program area near the river.
TuscParks Education and Event manager Marsha Freeland invites the community to participate in this event. “Trenton Heritage Park is a quiet, serene area that is normally only accessible with a permit to use. We would like others to reflect and enjoy this event relaxing next to the river and the old canal.”
Registration is preferred but not required.
