Hispanic Heritage Month Fashion Show

As part of the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Fourth & Faith is hosting a program called “Fashions of Guatemala” on Saturday, October 5 beginning at 6:30 PM. Several young women from our Latina community will model traditional clothing of Guatemala. They will talk about the cultural significance of the patterns woven into their skirts and the figures embroidered on their blouses.

Belinda Lentz says that “the program is a celebration of the beautiful and most colorful clothing worn by our Guatemalan neighbors. We will learn about the separate pieces that go into creating a completed look.”

This program will be held on Saturday, October 5 at 6:30 PM Fourth & Faith located at the corner of E.Fourth Street and N. Wooster Avenue in Dover. Register online at www.doverlibrary.org/events or call the library at 330-343-6123. Attendees can get their “passports” stamped at this event.
