New Philadelphia Veteran’s Day Service

The city of New Philadelphia will host a Veteran’s Day service on November 11th at 11:00am on Courthouse Square.

Tuscarawas County Probate and Juvenile Judge Adam Wilgus will speak. Wilgus served as an Army artillery man with the 2nd Battalion, 174th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, Ohio National Guard.

New Philadelphia High School Marching Band will perform the national anthem, and students of the New Philadelphia School choral programs will provide additional music. Students will also perform the flag folding ceremony.  The rifle squad, composed of local volunteers, will fire rifle volleys.

A bean soup luncheon will follow the service at the New Phila VFW Post Canteen (441 Park Ave. NW).

This event is free and open to the public.
