Presented by the Village of Sugarcreek the free, family-friendly event will begin at dusk over the Sportsman’s Club (near Park Street Pizza and the Football field). Fireworks will start at dark and will be set off by the Sportsman’s Club in Sugarcreek. They can be seen by the football field, the United Church of Christ parking lot, and many other locations around town.
The Community Arts Council will be hosting an unveiling of a memorial portrait to honor Clayton Weller, for his over 40 years of service to the Village Of Sugarcreek. The ceremony starts at 7:00 PM. in front of the Cuckoo Clock. Light refreshments to follow.
The First United Church of Christ will be serving ice cream, pie, hot dogs, and smores in the parking lot in front of the church from 7:00-9:00 PM. This event is open to the public and is a great place to grab something tasty before the fireworks start.
