Sustainable Living Faire

Interested in sustainable living? This five-hour expo-type event focuses on a variety of sustainable living topics including homesteading, renewable resources, and so much more!
The Faire is held on all three levels of our Main Library and in all of our meeting spaces. Attendees visit informational and interactive tables, take part in hands-on activities and demonstrations, and attend breakout classes.
The Faire embraces all levels of sustainable living and included a variety of topics in the past like food preservation and canning, solar panels, mushroom inoculation, forest farming, energy-efficient tax credits, beekeeping, home butchering, spinning, soap making, kitchen herb gardening, tinctures, chair caning, and pollinator gardening.

The Tuscarawas County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), located in New Philadelphia, Ohio, was founded in 1979 by the Tuscarawas County Commissioners as a IRS-designated not-for-profit 501(c) 6 organization to respond to the growing number of visitor requests received in the area.
