The Living Library

The Third Annual “Living Library” will be held this year on Saturday morning, November 12 from 10:00 AM till noon in the Dover Public Library Community Room.

This program allows people to connect with each other and learn from each other.  The Living Library is a program where real people are on loan to readers, as if they were “books”.  This year’s “books” include a retired teacher, a veteran of Vietnam, a retired coach, a director of Friends of the Homeless, a retired doctor, a business owner, a former city councilman, and more.  Want to check out one of our “books”?  Spend the morning of November 12 at the library, see which books are available, “check out” a book, and have a conversation with that person for approximately 15 minutes.  It promises to be a mind-opening experience.

For more information, visit Dover Public Library’s website or call 330-343-6123.
