Join local residents Glenn Mears and Renee Miskimmin as they share their travel experiences through pictures and first-hand stories. See the inside of these former Soviet republics that have been sovereign nations for a little more than 30 years. Each of the five nations, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, has its own culture that is often apparent from the moment you arrive.
