The Warther Museum will host their annual free arboretum tour and flower sale. There will be a guided tour of the Dave Warther Arboretum at 11am, featuring discussions on plants, trees, and perennials found on the property as well as the history of the property itself. Please be aware you will need to stand for atleast 45 minutes and be able to use stairs. On the same date, the museum will host its sixth annual Frieda Warther Flower Sale from 9am-3pm. A variety of items will be for sale ranging from seeds, perennials, ground covers, annuals, vegetable plants, succulents, and hanging baskets. Proceeds from this sale benefit Frieda Warther’s original Swiss gardens. Frieda Warther founded Dover’s Garden Club, was an advocate of 4-H, and shared her garden and craft-making knowledge with hundreds of locals. We are working to keep her dreams and gardens alive.
