Adelante Arts Camp Recital

Adelante Arts Camp is a summer arts program that tells the stories of 6th – 12th grade Maya-Kiche, Maya-Ixil, Latino, and Hispanic students through a variety of artistic and cultural forms to celebrate their community and culture in Tuscarawas County. Local students meet twice a week to learn and hone in on new knowledge and techniques from professional creatives to enhance their artistic experiences and gain confidence in their culture and identity. 2024’s Adelante Arts Camp will work with Off the Wall Music and its instructors to teach the elements of playing guitar and writing music. Students with learn about playing the guitar, rhythm, melody, and writing songs during the workshops on Tuesdays and Thursdays, then share their work at a final concert showcase.
