Canal Town Book Festival

October 5th, 10:00am – 3:00pm
Dover High School
520 N Walnut St, Dover, OH 44622

The Canal Town Book Festival is Tuscarawas County’s annual author and arts adventure. Hosted by the Dover Public Library, our vision advocates community literacy through collaboration, uniting those fabulous with the pen and quill in our grand exhibition. We focus on promoting both amateur novelists, wordsmiths dipping their toe into the pond for the first time and veteran authors, encouraging anyone and everyone who wants to explore their creativity. This celebration connects local, grassroots authors to a wider audience. Drawing people from all over northeast Ohio, in addition to the Cleveland and Columbus metro areas. The book festival offers attendees a glimpse of these extraordinary buckeyes that call the valley home.

Are you a student? Do you fancy yourself as a literature aficionado or dabble in drama? Get immersed in ink culture: fantasy, sci-fi, chronicles, biographies, memoirs, narratives, fiction- or not, the Canal Town Book Festival encourages voyages of the mind, stringing together perspectives from all walks of life. This is the defining career opportunity, as the Canal Town Book Festival will have guest-speakers, established authors, workshops and activities.
In this free-to-attend event, visitors can tour the space, experimenting with genres and splurging on their fellow book-lovers, shopping for colleagues, friends, or family with the upcoming holiday season in mind.
