First Town Days Festival
The First Town Days Festival first took place in 1978 as a celebration of the first town or settlement in Ohio, which was Schoenbrunn Village. The event still exists today to both celebrate the identity of the now New Philadelphia area and also to support various projects at the town’s Tuscora Park. The event lineup includes live entertainment, a bocce tournament, bingo, crafts, a pie eating contest, a fishing derby, food vendors, and even a fireworks display. The event is held at the Tuscora Park From June 30th until the celebration of American Independence, July 4th.
