Little Theatre Presents: Being of Sound Mind

March 15th-17th, 7:30pm (Fri+Sat), and 2:30pm (Sun)
Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County
466 Carrie Ave NW, New Philadelphia, OH

A new, world-premiere original production from The Little Theater of Tuscarawas, is a wildly comedic farce, set in an unusual location for laughs – a lawyer’s office at the reading of a will. It’s entitled “Being of Sound Mind” and after seeing it, you may wonder if the folks involved are of sound mind themselves.

The play, written by local resident Richard Parker, and directed by Little Theater veteran G. Shawn Clay, is a wild, hilarious romp with non-stop guffaws. Show up prepared to laugh.

The story is not as dark as it may sound – even though the plot is literally about “the family plot”. As a frustrated attorney tries his best to keep the proceedings proceeding, the family of the dearly departed cannot seem to get it together. The laughs build and pile up fast as the combative family piles on each other with verbal and even physical jabs.

“Being of Sound Mind” is the latest production from G. Shawn Clay, who is in charge of the LIttle Theater’s original productions. This one is highly original and “drop-dead” funny.

Admission is $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for children. Click here to get your tickets now or call 330-308-6400 for more information.
