Warther Museum National Historic Marker Dedication

June 8th, 9:30am – 5:00pm
Ernest Warther Museum and Gardens
331 Karl Ave, Dover, OH

The Warther Museum will be hosting a dedication and unveiling of their National Historic Marker. June 8th holds a special place for the Warther Family. Not only was the present day museum building opened on this date in 1963 by Mooney, but exactly 10 years later, Mooney Warther passed away. Join in as they dedicate their marker from their listing on the National Historic Registry, a designation given by the National Park Service. The dedication will take place at 9:30am.

In addition, we want to remember “Mooney Warther Day” put on by the city of Dover in 1963 and thank the city and its residents for years of support by also hosting half-priced admission for all Dover residents. Guided tours are at 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, and 2:30pm.

No reservations is needed for attending the marker dedication and it is a free event. For more information, please call 330-485-3891.
